As part of the IfA’s end of year exhibition we will be exhibiting the results of the last 12 months of Natural Building Lab studio collaborations.

The exhibition features for a post-fossil extension for the Museumsdorf Düppel in Zehlendorf and visions for the adaptive re-use of the Jacobi Friedhof in Neukölln. This year alongside the usual programme there will also be a series of accompanying events on Saturday afternoon to complement the contents of the exhibition.

CLIMATE CRISIS with CHORA & GtE
Saturday 13.07 / 12–13
Meeting Point: Foyer

Despite on-going sustainability efforts and increasingly earnest public discourse and activism, the building sector remains responsible for around 40% of European energy consumption and 50% of the overall use of material resources. Architects have a huge potential to influence direction in the building sector and thereby reduce the emissions and waste produced in the production and maintenance of our built environment.

NBL Big Circle
Saturday 13.07 @ 20:00
Meeting Point: Halle 2

To celebrate the success of the last year we would like to invite everybody who has been involved in one of our studios or seminars so far to join us in our customary big circle for a toast in the Halle 2 before the start of the Sommerfest.
